Due to the nature of our Express Send application, the settings menu had to be separated from the main flow of the app.
To Open the Settings Menu
- Click on Start and Search for "Express Send Settings."
- Select the Express Send Settings result that appears.
Zenfolio Login Information
The Express Send application allows you to store your username and password for faster uploading. This information is stored using an encryption system (your password is never saved in plain text). We also only store your login information on your local computer. If you wish to clear the saved information, just clear the username and password boxes and click the Save Setting button.
The Use Thumbnails option is helpful if you upload a large number of photos. Express Send attempts to generate a thumbnail image for each photo uploaded while showing the progress of your upload. The process of generating a thumbnail takes a moment or two - so removing them will speed up your uploads.
Upload Video Files
Video files are now fully supported by the Express Send application. We have not been able to test a few file types so we have kept this labeled as a beta feature. If the Upload Video Files box is checked, the application will attempt to upload all videos the same way it would with a photo.
Upload to Private Galleries
Checking this button will make all new Galleries PRIVATE on Zenfolio. Afterwards you can go into Zenfolio and convert them to PUBLIC.
Check if File Exists
Selecting this option will allow Express Send to check if the same file name already exists in your Gallery. If you are uploading a folder structure to Zenfolio, Express Send will use existing Galleries as well as creating new Galleries if they don't exist.
Proxy Settings Tab
If your company or home uses a proxy server you may enter the settings using the Proxy Settings Tab. Proxy servers vary wildly, so if you encounter any issues please contact our support team (email@example.com).
The About Tab informs you which version of Express Send you are using. It also provides a way to check for updates. (If you do nothing, the system will automatically check for updates every 10-15 days).
Informs you of your support options with Express Send. This tab is also useful for generating details logs to allow our support team to assist you quickly.
