Express Send Plus provides the ability to schedule uploads. This feature is helpful if you have a metered internet connection or want your uploads to run while you are not working on your computer.
- Open My Computer and Navigate to the folder or spot where you have the photos you wish to upload.
- Select the files you wish to upload (folders can be selected too).
Hint: Select just specific photos by holding down the CTRL key and clicking on the photos or folders you want. - Right click on any of the selected photos or folders and select "SEND TO" --> "Send to Zenfolio"
- The Express Send Application will load and gather all the information needed to send your photos to Zenfolio.
- Login to your Zenfolio account using your email address and password.
Hint:If you do not wish to enter this information every time click on the SAVE PASSWORD checkbox. - After logging into the Zenfolio System, you will be presented with a list of your current Galleries and Groups. Groups look like folders and Galleries look like a stack of photos. On this page you have quite a few options:
- Upload all photos to one Gallery
Selecting a Gallery will place all files into that one gallery. Even if you selected a bunch of folders, the entirety of your photo selection will be placed in this one Gallery. - Selecting a Group will create a Single Gallery (Non-Plus Version)
If you select a Group from your account, the Express Send application will generate a random Gallery to place all your photos in. This Gallery will always be a random string of numbers and letters. - Create a new Gallery for every folder (Plus Version Only)
Plus users can select a Group and the Express Send application will create a gallery for every folder you have selected.
- Upload all photos to one Gallery
- Click on the Schedule Upload button.
- Enter the date and time you wish to schedule the upload for. All times are in your computers local time.
- Click on the Continue button.
- The Express Send Application will exit and is now configured to run at the scheduled time.
Note: Express Send uses Windows Task Scheduling to schedule its run time. If you wish to cancel a scheduled upload, cancel the task via the Windows Task Scheduler.
To open Windows Task Scheduler
pen Task Scheduler by clicking the Start button:
Clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Security, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-clicking Task Scheduler. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Once you see the Task Scheduler, Click on the Task Scheduler Library folder - located in the left side column.
You will now see a list of Windows Tasks - select the Express Send task from the list by double clicking on it. On the Triggers tab, click on the NEW... button and set the schedule you would like Express Send to run on. Hit OK and then OK again, the task will now run on that schedule.
